Wow what a whirlwind week I have had. I found out on Monday that a wedding I was helping to plan for 2012 was being moved to 2011…..in just 12-weeks time. Eek no pressure. This is the first wedding I will have planned and co-ordinated in full so to do so in 12-weeks is really testing my planning skills to the fore. I have no fears though as the couple I am working with are truly amazing, they are both so cool and stylish that it’s not about coming up with a ‘theme’ (I hate that word anyway) but about helping them to merge together their own very distinctive styles, a Vintage-Glam bride and a Mod groom. We have discussed lots of really exciting ideas but you will have to wait until after the day (in June) to find out what they are as I don’t want to spoil the surprise for their guests.
I have also been putting the finishing touches in place for my Nan’s 80th Birthday Party which is happening on Wednesday, I have sourced the most gorgeous pretty flowers, finished off the bunting and have all the antique picture frames restored and painted up in lovely vintage colours. I am super excited about it and can’t wait to see her face.
For now I have a round-up of all the wedding fabulousness I have found this week…..enjoy!
