Hello folks,
I have an apology first of all, my Monday morning mood board is a little later than usual due to some minor technical issues. These can be frustrating when my entire business relies on computers but as with all things technical sometimes you just have to roll with it and take a deep breath.
It usually works out in the end.
And so, here is my take on the latest craze for all things floral print. The Spring 2012 catwalks were full of botanical goodness and ditzy dainty floral prints, a look I feel is perfect for summer weddings wishing to emulate a coquettish country garden feel to the proceedings.
So many colour palette’s would work here, I have chosen soft coral, mauve and delicate pink mixed with a seafoam green and a french blue to keep things looking too sweet and girly.
Hope you like….

- Maids in floral print is the only way to go with this style, either dress them all in the same co-ordinating fabric, with dresses made to suit their own gorgeous shape. Or choose a range of mismatched yet co-ordinating floral prints for a really eclectic look.
- Brides and maids with flowers in their hair has been such a big trend of late, they look super sweet and romantic. Either real or silk flowers work here.
- You can even emulate the country garden feel across your stationery, with a hand-illustrated botanic design.
- And why not get the boys in on the action too with a cute floral print bow tie? Sexy and chic.
So are you a lover of forever florals? Are you including floral prints in your wedding celebrations, and if so how? Would love to hear your plans.
