Illustrative Moments takes a fashionable memory and turns it into a timeless piece of art and the new go-to gift even more so the ULTIMATE first anniversary gift of paper. Perfect for any occasion- Bridal shower, Wedding, Anniversary, Valentines, Birthday, Christmas, or just because. I have even had requests for bridal party and mother of the bride portraits as well which makes for a very thoughtful gift from the bride. If it is a gift given before the big day I have been successful in working with tear sheets of the wedding gown and pictures of the bride to-be with notes on hair styles and jewellery since most brides cannot keep their big day glam a secret from their friends. Gift Certificates are also available as well as optional custom work such as illustrations for paper goods etc.
The illustration is rendered in a high fashion style that will take on characteristics such as hair color/style and jewelry but is not meant to be an exact portrait. The chosen pose is decided by the dress and all highlighted details creating a flattering composition.
Each piece is done with much attention to detail and is created in colored pencil, colored marker, ink, and metallic pens and placed in a silk white mat with backer board ready to frame inside a clear sleeve”.

How do brides order from you and can you talk me through your design process?
- Visit our site at Illustrative Moments and select ORDER to inquire on a piece. In the comment field please note its a UK order..I will be updating my site with International rates in the next couple of days.
- Each custom illustration is approached with much thought and detail. Once the order is placed with payment received you will need to email several photos consisting of a good full frontal, three-quarter view, full back view if that option is selected, and then detail shots (shoes, jewellery, hair ornaments, dress embellishments). Along with the photos please note basic details that might be vague or altered such as color of dress, small hard to see embellishments (beading/lace etc), and or any other information you feel important.
- The illustration is rendered in a high fashion style that will take on characteristics such as hair color/style and jewellery but is not meant to be an exact portrait. The chosen pose is decided by the dress and all highlighted details creating a flattering composition. Every illustration is an original piece done on bristol board using permanent artist ink, coloured pencil and markers with accents of metallics. You will also receive a scan of the finished piece before shipping. Once completed each piece is signed and then set in a 12×16″ light ivory mat with backer board, and then placed in a protective clear sleeve.
