Our NYC couple Cleo and James wed at Sibton Park on the Wilderness Reserve estate in Suffolk over a beautifully crisp Autumn weekend.

Cleo shared the details of her day “Figuring out where we wanted to get married wasn’t an easy choice but after some back and forth we found Sibton Park in Suffolk and it couldn’t have been more ideal for us. Since people were traveling from such far away places as California and India we really wanted it to be easy once they got there. Minimal transportation and the ability for most guests to be a able to stay on the property was important to us.”

“I must have tried on a million wedding dresses but they were either too slutty (yes that is a big bridal trend) or too frou frou or I had seen it a million times. I wanted something unique but classic. I eventually found this dress in LA that was two pieces but it worked better for me as one piece. It turned out that it was a new designer Houghton and they were based in NYC so I worked with the designer there to customize the dress to create a really classic silhouette with some modern touches such as the open back.” 

“We entertain a lot so we wanted the reception to feel like a really elegant black-tie dinner, without being too fussy and overly formal. Lots of beautiful lush, low flower arrangements by Swallows and Damsons and tons of candles helped to add to the ambience.”
