Cinematic: City Wedding Styling in London

We were introduced to couple Laura and Toby by You and Your Wedding Magazine and invited to work with them to inspire their wedding planning at Tanner Warehouse in London. They wanted a chic but pretty urban wedding that reflected the speakeasy feel of the space.

We consulted with the couple to get to know them a little better and discovered that Toby had proposed with a cinema billboard message and also found out Laura had a love of golden age glamour and deep rich colours like emerald green.

This set our creative wheels turning and so we came up with a design reflective of this romantic proposal with warm tones, seasonal sparkle and cinema style references such as ticket stationery, popcorn save-the-dates and vintage cinema seats. As they are to be wed in winter we wanted to show them what was possible at this atmospheric time of year without veering into anything too Christmassy.

To help the couple visualise how the concept might work for their day we mocked up a tablescape filled with romantic candlelight, marbled emerald napkins and golden accents, accompanied by a plethora of pretty flowers in white and what I like to call ‘dirty peach’. The consultation was a roaring success with the Cinematic concept a huge hit with the couple.
