To create a warm, natural, romantic and magical celebration that brings the outdoors in. As our couple were getting married on the longest day they wanted to draw inspiration from a midsummer night’s dream.
We created a bespoke stationery suite for the couple that included invitations and on-the-day items, featuring hand-drawn vine illustrations and printed onto recycled Kraft paper for a rustic feel. Rustic wooden signage and lasercut paper butterflies added a whimsical touch to the decor.
The ceremony space was subtly styled with an abundant foliage garland of ferns and vines sitting on the mantel to frame their vows whilst the ceremony table featured a luxury linen runner sourced from Italy.
For the reception it was all about creating that enchanted feeling by adding to the already lush greenery of the orangery with a wow-factor ceiling install of draping vines. The tables were dressed with a variety of woodland tableaux and mini-enchanted forests, designed to look as though the decor had literally sprung up from the table. Twinkling candlelights added a romantic glow to proceedings.
A woodland inspired iced cake took centre stage, placed on an oversized wooden moss-covered base and featuring edible flowers bursting up from chocolate soil.
For the evening party a chill-out lounge, The Hamilton Inn, was styled in a homage to the Groom’s Scottish heritage complete with pub-furniture, a Whisky tasting bar and a crisp station. Landscape images of the Scottish highlands, photographed by the Groom’s grandfather, adorned the red velvet lined walls.
