Enchanted Elegance
A Hampton Court ceremony followed by a private estate wedding marquee reception.
Our brief was to create a refined and chic wedding day that brought together Bryony and Simon’s interests in a relaxed and informal atmosphere. Our couple wanted a day that was elegant yet eclectic; to bring the outdoors into their marquee wedding and to celebrate the natural, Autumnal setting. And to inject a little bit of magic into the styling of the day!
Our ‘Enchanted Elegance’ design concept captured a refined woodland aesthetic. Celebrating the season with rich berry tones and woodland greens and injecting a sense of magic into the proceedings with beautiful elegant details such as crystal chandeliers, styled alongside more eclectic pieces.
Following a beautiful ceremony at Hampton Court, guests were transported down the Thames to the bride’s family home for the marquee reception. Our design incorporated lots of foliages and unstructured florals to add character and a truly enchanting feel to the blank canvas of the marquee, whilst brass and dark wood tones added a rustic warmth to the space.
Reflecting the couple’s love of old world antiquities, an array of treasure and heirlooms were introduced throughout the tent, with even the photobooth featuring Victoriana inspired props.
Our groom’s scientific background was reflected in a stunning apothecary bar, styled with scientific beakers, vessels and vintage apothecary bottles. Whilst tables were each named after a scientific element and styled with appropriate decor elements to create a real sense of discovery and intrigue. And our couple’s love of pigs was playfully celebrated with a bespoke lasercut wooden pig head, which took pride of place behind the decadent dessert station. This was certainly a marquee wedding like no other!
