A small and intimate Civil Ceremony, followed by a rehearsal dinner was held at Balcombe Place in Sussex, the night before our couples larger wedding at their private estate.

“If you wanted the moon I’d tie a little lasso and pull it down for you” It’s Valentines week! Come on hands up how many of you are believers? Do you go all out with the celebrations or scramble around last minute to find a witty card and leave it at that? Tell us below….are you a YES or NO to Valentines. I’m in the latter camp and have never been one for over-the-top Valentines gestures (because who wants to confine romance to one day?) but nothing wrong if you’re a hearts and flowers - I want it all, kinda Valentiner. What I am a big believer in though is LOVE. The purest, sweetest love stories that are galvanised during those everyday moments. The bits in between the big stuff, the funny little anecdotes, the coming together during life’s trials and the mistakes made. And at the end of it all, knowing you are by each others side through everything. Stronger together as a team. This has got to be one of the most beautiful and heartfelt speeches I’ve heard over many years as a planner - and yes I cry at every one. Also so pleased our Groom listened me when I kept telling him to take those bloody sunglasses off for his speech and allowed his emotion to be witnessed by all. A beautiful moment to treasure.
